Borg Queen's Vessel Starship Die-Cast Model (Issue #109) Eaglemoss Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection
This ship has been painstakingly recreated in die-cast and plastic materials then hand painted with an incredible level of detail. The vehicle also comes with a full color collector magazine. Vehicle measures approximately 2-1/2 inches long x 2-1/2 inches wide x 4-1/2 inches tall (mounted on base).
The Borg Queen's vessel was an octahedron-shaped starship that was used to transport the Borg Queen in the 24th century. The ship was heavily armed, well protected, and, like all Borg ships, capable of transwarp speeds. As far as it was known, the Borg Queen’s vessel was unique, and it was normally situated inside the Borg’s Unicomplex. As seen the Star Trek: Voyager two-parter 'Dark Frontier'.
The fully illustrated magazine includes a look at how Dan Curry designed the Borg Queen’s ship, plus a breakdown of the U.S.S. Voyager’s journey from the Delta Quadrant back to Earth, and how it took just seven years when it should have taken 75.
The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 130 ships in total.
