Aberlemno kelpies

This pendant is based on the entwined kelpies from the Aberlemno 2 Pictish symbol stone. The kelpies, or eich uisge (a water-horse), are creatures from Scottish folklore, where they are said to inhabit lochs, although they can usually shape shift into human form. Almost every body of water in Scotland has a legend of Kelpies associated with it.

Designed and cast in lead free pewter by us in Scotland.

The pendant measuers 58mm long and 28mm wide and weighs 18g.
