Anemonopsis californica (Apache beads)

Anemopsis californica, commonly known as yerba mansa, is a striking marginal perennial with aromatic, grey-green leaves that form dense clumps along wet ground and shallow water edges. In summer, it produces distinctive cone-shaped flower spikes surrounded by white petal-like bracts, creating an unusual and eye-catching display above the foliage.
