This Maplin Handheld 10" Metal Detector Wand Body Scanner with Beep/Vibration Alerts & LED Light is a small metal detector for adults powered by a 9V battery (not included). It has a low battery audible sound alert and red low battery indicator to tell you when replace or recharge the battery.

Simply press the button "Sound Alarm Switch" or "Vibration Alarm Switch" to power on the Maplin metal detector. When the metal scanner detects a metal object the audio buzzer will sound or the handle will vibrate and the a red LED will illuminate when a metal object is detected. Rotate the sensitivity dial according to the size/shape/composition of the object you are mostly commonly trying to detect.
