Original Identity: In the animated series, the ghost was the disguise of Mr. Voltner, a chief electrician who faked his death to help the mayor of Winterhaven scare people away so they could buy the land for cheap. The 10,000 Volt Ghost (often referred to as the 10,000 Volt Man) is an iconic orange electrical monster from the Scooby-Doo franchise. It first appeared in the 1976 episode "Watt a Shocking Ghost" of The Scooby-Doo Show.
