ABOUT THE ARTIST
Based in England and operating globally for both agencies and client brands, Tim Wallace has received many awards over his career; most recently Commercial Photographer of the Year 2021 at the British Photography Awards in London for his work with his client McLaren. Previous awards have included Professional and Commercial Photographer of the Year Awards as well as Car Photographer of the Year at the UK Motor Industry Awards, Sapphire Pegasus Business Aviation Award, and Best Creative Business Awards in the UK. Spanning the commercial and advertising sectors working through his transport-based clients and agencies, he has been at the forefront of his field for over a decade. ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Captured on location in the UK by Tim Wallace, the Alvis Three Litre, TC 21 is an automobile produced by British manufacturer Alvis between 1953 and 1955. Available as a 4-door saloon and, in its later TC 21/100 form, also as a 2-door drophead coupé, the bodies were made for Alvis by Mulliners (Birmingham). Powered by an Alvis 3-litre straight-6, the 2,993 cc engine produced 100 bhp, accelerating this vintage classic from 0-60 mph in 15.4 seconds and onto a top speed of 100.1 mph. Handcrafted in Nottingham, this wall art is limited to 100 units, ever, and is available in a wide range of print formats.
