Although the majority of cubes nowadays come pre-fitted with factory-installed magnets, certain cubers prefer to magnetize their cubes manually. They either add extra magnets on top of the existing ones to enhance magnetic strength or magnetize the cubes themselves. These additional magnets are circular, measuring 4mm in diameter and 1mm in width. Each pack contains 50 magnets, sufficient for magnetizing either a 2x2 or 3x3 cube.
