Fantasy and sci-fi miniatures throw up colours you'll never find on a tank, and this boxed set of six Abteilung 502 oils is built for exactly that. Picked to add contrast and nuance to sci-fi vehicles and ships and to work the effects on fantasy creatures, they mix together into just about any unusual tone a wild paint scheme demands — xenos skin, alien landscapes and glowing effects included.
What's in the box
- Six Abteilung 502 artist oil colours selected for fantasy and sci-fi
- Low-oil, ultra-fine pigment formula for a more matte, controllable finish
- Long working time for blending filters, washes, streaks and fades
Mixed on the palette they stretch a long way — enough range to cover the strange colours this kind of miniature lives on.
A ready-made oils palette for fantasy and sci-fi. A splash of white spirit thins them for glazing, and the rest of the Abteilung 502 range is there to expand it further.
