Abteilung 502 Round Brush 4/0 (ABT830-4/0)

The size 4/0 round is a proper detail brush — fine enough for edge highlights, small freehand and picking out the little things, without being quite as unforgiving as the very finest tips in the range. Abteilung 502's synthetic hair holds a sharp point wash after wash, and handles acrylics, enamels and oils equally well.

Best for

• Edge highlights and fine linework on miniatures
• Small freehand details and glazing
• A steadier, more forgiving step down from a 10/0 tip

Load it correctly and it'll hold that point through a full painting session — the sort of brush that earns a permanent spot in the water pot rather than the drawer.

A fine brush for everyday detail work. Browse the wider brush range, or see the full Abteilung 502 range to pair it with their oils.
