Bordeaux Red is a deep, dark wine-red — the rich burgundy of claret and velvet. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.
Best for
- Burgundy and claret robes and velvet
- Rich, cool red shadows
- Deep base for glazing brighter reds
Use it as a shadow beneath warmer reds or as a base for luxurious cloth. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes glazes cleanly.
Water-based acrylic — brush or airbrush. Explore the full AK 3rd Gen acrylic range or browse all our model paints.
