Medium Sand sits right in the middle of the sand palette — the reliable main tone for desert armour, arid groundwork and general sandy surfaces. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic applies it matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

  • The main tone on desert camo and armour
  • Arid groundwork and sandy surfaces
  • A mid base for lighter and darker sand modulation

Thin it for airbrush or brush layers, then shift panels lighter or darker with pale and dark sand for realistic variation. Matt finish, ready for weathering.

Water-based acrylic — brush or airbrush. Explore the full AK 3rd Gen acrylic range or browse all our model paints.
