Olive Drab Base is the foundation tone for painting US olive-drab armour and equipment — the classic WWII and post-war US vehicle colour, ready to modulate and weather. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

  • US olive-drab armour and vehicles
  • A base tone to modulate and weather
  • WWII and post-war US AFV schemes

Thin it for airbrush or brush layers, then modulate with a lighter olive and fade with filters. Its matt finish takes washes and chipping cleanly.

Water-based acrylic — brush or airbrush. Explore the full AK 3rd Gen acrylic range or browse all our model paints.
