AK Interactive: the Best 120 Colors for Figures (AK11704)

Figure painting lives or dies on colour choice, and this box hands you the whole decision at once. AK have assembled 120 of their 3rd Generation acrylics picked for figures and busts — the flesh tones and their shadows, the uniform colours, the leather, webbing, steel and cloth that make a historical figure read properly. It arrives in a hinged carry case with a handle, so the full palette travels to a club night as easily as it sits on the desk.

What's in the box

• 120 AK 3rd Generation acrylic paints
• Colours chosen for figures: historic, WWI, WWII and modern
• Hinged plastic carry case with individual slots

Best for

• Historical figures and busts across multiple periods
• Skin tones and their shadow and highlight steps
• Uniform, leather and webbing colours without hunting for matches

Water-based and high-pigment, the 3rd Gen formula thins cleanly for glazing and blending — which is most of the work on a face. Having the full spread in front of you makes building a proper flesh triad a matter of picking, not mixing and hoping.

A complete figure palette in one case. Replace individual bottles from the AK 3rd Gen acrylics range as you use them up.
