ABOUT THE ARTIST
Paul Ward has been a professional photographer for over twenty years now and recently won his category at the British Photography Awards 2020. Over the years his work has been published in many books and magazines both in the UK and internationally and his architectural images currently adorn the walls aboard Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2. Paul’s passion for cars started when he bought his first Austin Mini almost 30 years ago and ever since then he has been obsessed with both classic cars and modern supercars, so, as an image-maker, it’s not surprising that automobile photography has become a passion of his too.

ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Digitally hand-drawn here by Paul Ward, the Alfa Romeo SZ (Sprint Zagato) or ES-30 (Experimental Sportscar 3.0 litre) was a high-performance limited-production sports car built between 1989 and 1991 by a partnership between Centro Stile Zagato, Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and Centro Stile Fiat. It was unveiled as the ES-30 at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show as a prototype by Zagato, although the car was mainly built by them - not designed mechanically. Powered by a 207 bhp 2,959cc 12 valve V6, it tipped the scales at only 1,260 kg and delivered its power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Handcrafted in Nottingham, this wall art is limited to 100 units ever, and is available in a range of print formats. Any size, any style, anywhere in the world, but always limited to 100.
