Black Forest Gateaux is a flavoured loose-leaf black tea with cocoa depth, red-fruit aroma and a clean tea finish. It takes its cue from the cake without pretending to contain sponge, cream or syrup.

Black tea, pomegranate, cherry stems, moringa, cocoa beans, cranberry, cornflower and safflower petals, natural flavours.

Brewing guide

• Amount: 2.5 g (about 1 teaspoon) per 250 ml
• Water: freshly boiled water (100°C)
• Time: 2 minutes

Stir the pouch gently before measuring, give the blend room in a basket infuser and strain completely. Taste it plain first; a small splash of milk is optional. If it is too light, use a little more leaf or add 30 seconds next time rather than stewing it.

For iced tea, use 5 g in 150 ml of boiling water for 2 minutes, strain over a full glass of ice, then top with cold water.
