Fit Guidance

For the best protection, these swim shorts should fit snugly around the waist and upper legs without feeling uncomfortable.

Please measure before ordering and check the size guide carefully. If the fit is too loose around the legs, containment may be reduced.

Top tip: You can also compare the measurements with a well-fitting pair of the child’s own close-fitting underwear. The fit should feel secure, especially around the leg openings, to help keep everything contained while swimming.

Important: For incontinence swimwear, the lower waist and upper leg measurements are the most important. Please check these before choosing a size.

How to measure

Lower waist: Measure around the lower waist, where the waistband of the shorts will sit.

Upper leg: Measure around the top of the leg, just below the groin, where the inner brief leg opening will sit.

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest.

Height: Measure from the top of the head to the floor while standing straight.

Choosing the right size

Use the lower waist and upper leg measurements as the main guide
The inner brief needs to fit closely around the legs for better containment
If the child is between sizes, check the upper leg measurement first
Avoid sizing up too much, as a loose fit may reduce protection in the water
