ABOUT THE ARTIST
Paul Ward has been a professional photographer for over twenty years now and recently won his category at the British Photography Awards 2020. Over the years his work has been published in many books and magazines both in the UK and internationally and his architectural images currently adorn the walls aboard Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2. Paul’s passion for cars started when he bought his first Austin Mini almost 30 years ago and ever since then he has been obsessed with both classic cars and modern supercars, so, as an image maker, it’s not surprising that automobile photography has become a passion of his too.

ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Captured by Paul Ward at Shelsley Walsh, this is the BRM P160, a Formula One racing car designed by Tony Southgate for the British Racing Motors team, which raced in the 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974 F1 seasons. This iconic classic racecar was powered by a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 3.0-litre (2,998cc) V12 engine. Weighing as little as 550kg, the P160 had an aluminium semi-monocoque chassis with a rear tubular subframe, double wishbones and coil springs front and rear. This wall art is available on a run of 100 units, ever, and is available in a range of print formats. Any size, any style, anywhere in the world, but always limited to 100.
