Caltha palustris polypetala (Giant king cup)

Caltha palustris, commonly known as marsh marigold 'Polypetala', is a vigorous marginal perennial with glossy, rounded green leaves forming dense clumps along pond edges and wet soils. In spring, it produces semi-double to multi-petalled bright yellow flowers that rise above the foliage, offering a full and textured display in wetland plantings.
