David Ballam - Omo Valley 19

David Ballam was born and schooled in Johannesburg, South Africa, before studying photography at Rhodes University in the Eastern Cape, where he was introduced to the camera by Obie Oberholzer. He gained his Fine Art Degree with Honours in photography in 2004, and after several years working in commercial photography returned his focus to his fine art roots. Drawn to new faces, places, cultures and customs, David seeks out the African landscape, creating images that transcend their subject matter into fine art prints.
