Green Stuff World - Maxx Darth Black Paint 17ml

If you want the deepest black on the table, this is it. Maxx Darth is Green Stuff World's ultra-matt super-black, an acrylic that's claimed to absorb 98.9% of light rather than reflect it, so shadows read as genuinely bottomless rather than just "quite dark". High coverage and a dead-flat finish mean one coat does most of the work, and the stainless steel stirring ball in every bottle keeps the heavy pigment properly mixed.

Best for

• The deepest shadows and recesses
• Flat black basecoats and undercoats
• Void-black contrast on dioramas and display pieces

Lay it into the darkest areas of a scheme and everything around it suddenly pops — the sort of effect that stops people at a display cabinet and makes them look twice.
