The DINO glider is quick and easy to build and the finished model exhibits excellent flight characteristics for its size. This is a very complete kit which includes precision laser-cut plywood and balsawood parts which are marked with part numbers to aid assembly. The elevator, rudder and associated trim tabs are fitted using the supplied wire hinges, enabling adjustment prior to each flight. This excellent feature is very useful for teaching inexperienced modellers the fundamentals of aerodynamics and the effect of control surface deflection to flight patterns. The kit comes with a detailed coloured plan sheet which has each part number clearly marked and cross-referenced to the contents. The Mini DINO is suitable for hand-launching as a chuck glider or it can be launched using a bungee (not supplied). Ballast weights are provided for adjustment of the centre of gravity.
