Marsilea quadrifolia (Water shamrock or Upright water clover)

Marsilea quadrifolia, commonly known as four-leaf clover fern, is a distinctive aquatic fern with slender creeping stems and four-lobed, clover-like leaves held above or floating on the water surface. Its unusual foliage gives it a delicate yet eye-catching appearance, making it well suited to naturalistic ponds, shallow water, and damp margins.

This plant has good ecological value, providing cover for aquatic invertebrates and contributing to stable pond margins through its spreading growth.
