Made of corn flour and water only, polenta is often used as a main dish, topped up by a saucy meat casserole or fish.  

This very versatile ingredient can also be flavoured with cheese to give it an extra layer of flavour.

This is a Bramata , which means coarser, version of the classic polenta. This particular grounding gives the polenta a more rustic and textured taste.

Our recommendation:

 We love to cover our hot polenta with a simple tomato and mushrooms sauce. Amazingly delicious. 

Directions of use:

Store in a cool dry place.

For 1 person, gently pour 80g of polenta in a 500g salted boiling water whisking constantly. Be carful to hot sprinkles that may come from the pot.

Cook for 40 min circa.
