An antioxidant rich oil which conditions dry and tired looking skin leaving it soft and with a healthy looking colour.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A yellow to orange colour, mobile oil that is made from Organic Carrot Root Extract in Organic Sunflower Oil at a ratio of 1:5.
  • Use 1% to 5%. It is not dangerous to use more but you may find that the skin will temporarily take on the colour of the oil which may not be wanted.
  • Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension.
  • Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.
Cautions/Contraindications
None. Just be aware of the potential for skin staining.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
  • An excellent oil to use for all skin types but especially dry and mature skin. The carotenoids in the oil are natural antioxidants (and also give the oil it’s colour). This antioxidant effect reduces free radical activity within the skin, protecting it from further damage. Use in body butters, creams, lotions and serums.
  • Gives a healthy glow to dull and dehydrated skin making it look more healthy. It softens the skin and superb to add colour to any skin type or condition in winter time.
Hair Care
  • The antioxidant qualities of the oil will reduce oxidation on the hair shaft and protect coloured hair from UV fading. Do not use on freshly bleached hair that has not been toned, as the hair shaft may take on some of the colour of the oil.
