Organic Gluten Free Porridge Oats are fast-cooking rolled oats produced to certified gluten-free standards – creamy porridge made safe for coeliacs.

Oats are naturally gluten free, but ordinary oats usually pick up gluten from wheat and barley during growing, milling and packing. These UK-grown organic oat flakes come from a certified uncontaminated gluten-free supply chain and provide 9.8g of protein and 7.4g of fibre per 100g, including beta-glucan, the soluble fibre that occurs naturally in oats.

Porridge or jumbo oats? These smaller rolled flakes cook faster and turn creamier – the better pick for smooth porridge and baking. For chewier overnight oats, granola and flapjacks, choose Organic Gluten Free Jumbo Oats.

How do these differ from standard porridge oats? Certification. Our regular Organic Porridge Oats are the same style of flake but are not certified gluten free, so they typically carry gluten traces from shared farming and packing – fine for most people, not for coeliacs.

Cook with double the quantity of liquid to oats and a pinch of salt – milk makes it extra creamy.
