Tapioca is a starch extracted from Cassava, a root vegetable originating in South America. It is a staple food in the tropics and is the third largest source of carbohydrates after maize and rice. As an added extra It is naturally gluten free!

Instructions for Use:

Tapioca starch is a thickener and stabiliser in fruit pies, soups, puddings, breads, sauces and as a 1:1 replacement for corn flour. Adds a crisp texture to springy loaves of bread and muffins. Makes an array of puddings. Try using to make pancakes / crepes.

Storage Instructions:

Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
