  • THE MARBLING TECHNIQUE: Discover the fascinating art of marbling with Pébéo's Marbling Collection Box painting set. The vivid colours are used according to a simplified technique inspired by Japanese marbling on rice paper in the eleventh century (Sumi nagashi), and later on in Europe by 19th century bookbinders. This comprehensive kit makes it easy to transfer colour from the thickening bath by simply touching the object to be decorated on the colours.
  • APPLICATION, SURFACES, FIXING: Create marbling on all light and porous surfaces: fabric, cardboard, paper, plaster... Prepare the thickener bath with the Marbling Bath Auxiliary included in this set and apply the drops of colour to its surface. Transfer the colours on the surface of the bath to your light-coloured substrate (fabric, paper, card, recycled paper, wood, plaster, etc.) by simple contact. On fabric, the colours are fixed with an iron after drying.
  • INTENSIVE, READY TO USE AND MIXABLE COLOURS: These fluid, vivid and intense, water-based colours are ready to use and can be mixed together, giving a wide range of different shades.
