Radflek is the most efficient radiator reflector recommended under the UK’s Energy Saving Trust Recommended Product scheme and is revolutionary in its ease of installation. Radflek is one of the easiest and most cost effective methods of energy saving in the home - at least 23% more efficient than louvered or saw toothed radiator reflector panels and quicker and easier to install. Radflek reflects back into the room 95% of the energy radiated from the back of the radiator and cuts heat loss through the wall and into the outside world by 45%. This means that less energy is used to heat the room to the desired temperature, resulting in lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint. Radflek will typically pay for itself in under a year. Radflek is a laminated aluminium reflective membrane with a long lasting coating that prevents oxidation and preserves its high reflectivity for at least 60 years. This is unlike kitchen foil that tears easily and degrades very quickly. There is no need for removal of radiators, professional installers, or any sticking to the wall – Radflek is cut to size with normal kitchen scissors and just hangs from the wall brackets behind the radiator, so disappearing from view once installed. Each sheet of Radflek is 120cm x 60cm and sufficient for 2 typical sized radiators each measuring 60cm between the wall brackets. Pack sizes act as a guide only and are on the basis of such a typical radiator. All packs contain Radflek sheets, clips and instructions - everything required for a standard installation of Radflek (behind a typical wall mounted radiator). Where the distance between the radiator wall brackets is greater than 120cm, Radstik reflective adhesive tape can be used to increase the size of a Radflek sheet. Radstik can also be used to combine off cuts.
