Salcombe - South Sands

💙💜💛 I am thrilled to reveal with you my latest artwork... Salcombe - South Sands. 

I have LOVED working on this picture and think its my best one yet (.mind you I always say that when I've released a new picture, but I really do think it is!!)

Beautiful stunning Salcombe -  it's such a magical place and South Sands beach is absolutely enchanted. An unspoilt sandy cove, nestled along the mouth of the Salcombe - Kingsbridge estuary walkable from Salcombe town centre.

What makes the beach even more special is the nostalgic, famous sea tractor on the beach which drives you into the water to meet the South Sands Ferry. Where you swap from the tractor to the boat which then takes you to Salcombe town, which you can picture in the artwork.

Located in the warm sunny climate of South Devon there is a romantic holiday feel to Salcombe with the honeycomb sandy beaches and exotic plants and vegetation which nestles and hugs the Caribbean like, clear blue coloured sea.

Right on the South West coastal path, near OverBecks National Trust property & gardens it is a perfect destination. You can also treat yourself and stay at the new South Sands hotel - which is simply exquisite!

Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South Hams, Salcombe is the most southerly part of the South Devon coastline. She has used a palette of classic seaside colours to relive wonderful summer memories again and again.
