Upcycled sari flags, reusable sari bunting

Brighten up any room with our colourful upcycled sari flags. Traditional decorative flags can be used to welcome guests into the home. They look stunning when hung on doors, windows and walls and they make great gifts. Each set of sari flag bunting was ethically handmade from recycled saris, designed and sewn by our tailoring team in India, paying attention to colour and pattern choices for each individual product.

Every set of sari flags is unique, with each flag carefully chosen to compliment the other fabrics used. The entire bunting is made of sari fabric off-cuts, enabling us to create beautiful decor from scraps that would otherwise be thrown away. The colours and pattern of each flag and the garland will vary, and will be uniquely yours.

Because each sari is unique, each set of flags has its own story and is truly one-of-a-kind. Most saris are comprised of multiple colours and patterns intended to compliment each other when draped, which is why no two items made from the same sari are the same. Colours and patterns may vary from the photographs, depending on which part of the saris were used. Some finished items have minor imperfections, which makes them even more charming and distinctive.

~185cm (approximately 6 feet 6 inches, made of roughly 9 flags) or;

~245cm (approximately 8 feet, made of roughly 11 flags); or

~285cm (approximately 9 feet, made of roughly 13 flags)

Care: Gently hand wash in cold water. Hang or lay flat to air dry.
