US PRO Tools Locking Wheel Nut Removal Sockets, (Socket, Alloy Wheels ) 6178

A selection of conical sockets to aid the removal of locking wheel nuts.

Select a socket that fits approximately half way over the nut.

Centre the socket and using the supplied rod hit it with a 1kg hammer until the socket is firmly locked on the nut.

The socket can now be used to remove the locking nut using a standard hand wrench.

The wheel nut can be released from the socket using the supplied rod.

In some cases it may be necessary to grind the socket to reduce the length or thickness to make a good fit.

These sockets are classed as consumables and may need replacing after use.

Please note the following

Do not use with an impact wrench.
