Vallejo Model Color Glaze Medium (18ml)

Glazing is one of those techniques that quietly separates a decent paint job from a stunning one, and this is the medium that makes it easy. Vallejo's Model Color Glaze Medium is a colourless auxiliary you mix into your acrylics to thin them into smooth, transparent glazes — perfect for building up shadows, tinting highlights or unifying a model's tones without leaving chalky, opaque patches. It also improves flow and buys you a little more working time on the brush.

Best for

• Smooth shadows, shadings and glazes
• Working with pigments and subtle tone shifts
• Keeping colour transitions clean and controllable

Once it's on your desk you'll reach for it constantly — it's the difference between fighting your paint and gently guiding it.

An essential in any serious painter's kit. Works hand in hand with the wider Vallejo Model Color range and a good wet palette.
