Vallejo Pigments - European Earth

European Earth is the honest, mid-brown soil tone that suits a huge range of temperate settings — the damp fields of Normandy, muddy farm tracks, woodland bases and more. This ultra-fine Vallejo pigment dusts on dry for a natural earthy haze, or fixes with thinner and binder to build up thicker mud in the recesses. If you paint anything set in temperate Europe, this is a bottle you'll wear out.

Best for

• Temperate soil, fields and farm tracks
• Woodland and countryside bases
• General-purpose mud and earth

Neutral enough to underpin almost any earthy scheme without pulling too warm or too cool.

The everyday earth tone you'll always reach for. Team with Pigment Binder and ochre pigments for layered ground.
