Vallejo Polyurethane Primer Black (17ml)

Black is the workhorse primer choice for deep shadows, dark schemes and dramatic zenithal starts. This Black primer from Vallejo's Surface Primer range grips resin, plastic, brass, white metal and more, preserving fine detail while giving superb adhesion for the colours on top. It dries fast to a tough, homogenous film and thins nicely for the airbrush.

Best for

• Dark schemes and deep shadow starts
• Zenithal priming under a white highlight
• Maximum adhesion on tricky surfaces

A black undercoat gives instant depth and makes bold colours feel richer on top.

The classic dark foundation. Pairs perfectly with a white primer for zenithal work and the wider Vallejo range.
