They have a unique pine scent and flavour, and you've probably eaten them before because they're a key ingredient in pesto... In fact, it is for their use in pestos that they are most known! Essential fatty acids are found in pine or cedar nuts. Its nutrient profile keeps you feeling fuller for longer times. Pines, like almonds, are a good source of vitamins, and a potent antioxidant.
